Part 1

Tokyo Metropolis International Airport – Lobby
(The day has finally come.)
(Not only have I come up with the perfect disguise to prevent being mobbed by fans—)
(I’ve also studied up on Mongolian language and culture on dazzle. All that’s left is to do my best… to make this study tour a complete success—)
RENGA-SAN, RENGA-SAN, RENGA-SAAAAAN!!!!
H-Hey! I told you not to shout my name like that! I’m trying my best to blend in right now.
So? What do you want?
We have time to kill before our flight, yeah? Let’s go eat something~.
Didn’t you eat before coming here… kinda? The onigiri Sakujiro-san made for us.
That was then, this is now. My tummy is already empty.
Man, aren’t you just a bundle of energy.
Ah~, I’m hungry~~. Starvezilla1 has arrived~. GROWL~ GROWL~!!
Okay, okay, I get it!
If you’re hungry, or whatever… then just say it. Let’s go to where the restaurants are.
The restaurants should already be open by now. What are you feeling, Akuta?
Hmm, decisions, decisions~. All the options look hella good, and there’s stuff I’m dying to try, but we gotta go with something that’s surefire.
You never know if this is gonna be our last meal ever in JPN…!
!
(He’s… right…! We won’t know what can happen to us overseas.)
After you decide on something, on the count of three, point to it, ‘kay?
…Gotcha. I’m ready.
‘N that case, 1~, 2~!
3!
Woohoo!! We share a single brain cell, for reals~♪ You can’t go wrong with soba!
You got that right. Nothing like the smell of soba soup stock to ease your mind for a long trip…
If this gonna be our last meal, I want to savour the flavour in my soul.
*walks over and orders*
Tokyo Metropolis International Airport
PARDON US!
H-Hey! I told you not to do that!
*deadpans* Pardon us.
Renga-san, Renga-san. Wanna go halfsies?
Halfsies? Sure… that’s fine with me… but how do I divide tororo…?
*shutter sounds*
Hm?
Wazzup?
…Nothing.
These are soba options typically available in shops:
① Tsukimi soba is soba with an egg, typically raw or semi-cooked.
② Curry soba is soba where the soup stock is mixed with Japanese curry.
③ Kitsune soba is soba with a piece of fried tofu.
④ Tanuki soba is soba with fried tempura bits.Akuta says うっし、お前に決めたァ in Japanese which means “Okay, I’ve decided on this one.” Since it suits his character to make references to movies and TV shows, creative liberty was taken to make it a Pokemon reference.
