Mm… seeing Yowa-san sit at a desk with a pencil in hand is certainly a rare sight. What exactly is happening?

Netaro Icon

Oooh! Uji, what impeccable timing. Save me from this endless writing hell.

Ryui Icon

I’m making this bastard turn in a written apology. Don’t you dare get in the way.

A written apology?

Ryui Icon

For the shit he pulled on the cruise.

Netaro Icon

Ahhhh I’m tiiiiired. All I did was make everyone fall asleep by accident…

Ryui Icon
Ryui

Wanna try sayin’ that again? Looks like you still haven’t reflected enough. I’m adding another 10 pages.

This is unethical!!

But to use a pencil of all things, what an analog approach.

Ryui Icon
Ryui

It feels more proper this way.

Netaro Icon
Netaro

Not analog, but anachronic~. In other words, you are witnessing a relic!

Ryui Icon
Ryui

Oi, you’re still messing up your “is” with “iz”.1 How many fucking times do you need me to say it? Do it again.

Hm… It’s true that it resulted in a big commotion onboard…

(But perhaps this whole incident was actually a mission for Yorozu.2)

Maybe you could be more lenient with him? Yowa-san looks like he’s been disciplined enough.

At this rate, they might even turn into a squid’s. Are you really okay with that? Turning your precious genius of a friend into an Atlantic giant squid?

Got that you still haven’t fucking realized what sort of shitty nuisance you caused for the rest of us, you bastard.

  1. In Japanese, there is a は (in this case, specially pronounced wa) particle that can often be thought of as the English equivalent “is”. Often times, beginning Japanese learners can confuse the sound for a different Japanese letter わ (pronounced wa). Netaro almost always uses わ instead of は for is, however, for English clarity and readability, he is often translated as speaking normally instead of misspelling the word. Since Ryui specifically pointed out his mistake here, and it is being written down on paper, there was a need and decision to translate it as such.

  2. The government group Muneuji believes Netaro is a part of (refer to Main Story 2: side B).
